Simple Styled Storage

With five people living in an Airstream for any length of time smart storage is a must. At the same time I do not wish to sacrifice style. My clothing storage solution hearkens back to my summer camp days when I lived for weeks at a time out of a footlocker. Instead of customizing our footlockers with paint pens and stickers, as was the summer camp custom, I chose to use a silver leaf kit purchased at the craft store. Each of us will have our own locker that will fit perfectly under the cots and bunk. The footlockers I used are a lightweight metal and are found at www.cb2.com.

The children are as excited about packing their lockers as I remember being about packing mine in anticipation for camp. I told them, however, that it may be a bit early to begin as we do not leave for another 5 months!
