Drawing Inspiration

When I am not demolishing trailers or transporting children to their various activities then I can be found drawing at my day job. As the artist for LivyLu, a boutique clothing company, I get to do what I love! Our new GO FORTH collection inspired by my upcoming travels may be my favorite LivyLu collection yet. The trip and the collection also happen to coincide with the National Parks 100 year anniversary in 2016. The shirts will be available online in early 2016.

Today I have been working on a design and I thought I would give you a glimpse at the process. I love hand drawing and lettering so most of my designs usually begin with a sketch. One of the parks I am most looking forward to visiting this summer is Joshua Tree so it is one of the first designs I wanted to do for the collection. I will post more designs from time to time as the collection grows!
